Carmelita the daugther of Crisostomo and Belen continued the tradition not only by bringing the product to Manila but also by sustaining the livelihood of arrowroot farmers in her province.

The Arrowwoot cookies was their best seller product since it was their first product and recipe made by the mother of the owner as heritage. The delectable heart-shaped arrowroot cookies became popular even outside the boarders of Marinduque. Balikbayans and local tourists would always buy rejano's arrowroot cookies as take home gift or what Filipinos call "Pasalubong" to their loved ones not only in Manila but also abroad.
